Data Deletion

In compliance with Meta (Facebook) policies and Law 1581 of 2012, DeportID provides a clear and simple process for users to request the permanent deletion of their personal data from our platform.
How to request data deletion?
You have two main options to exercise your right to deletion:
1. From the Application (Recommended)
- Log in to your DeportID account.
- Go to the Profile Settings section.
- Select the Security and Privacy option.
- Click the Delete my account button.
- Confirm the action. Your data will be scheduled for immediate deletion.
2. Request via Email
If you cannot access your account, you can send an email to contacto@deportid.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Full name.
- Email address associated with the account (Google or Facebook).
- A brief statement requesting the deletion of your information.
What happens when you delete your data?
Once the request is processed (maximum 48 hours for email requests, or instantaneous via app):
- Your player profile and "Digital Passport" will be permanently deleted.
- Your identity will be unlinked from all past tournaments and teams.
- Your game statistics will be kept anonymous so as not to affect the historical records of the tournaments, but they cannot be traced back to you.
- Any profile pictures stored on our servers will be deleted.
Note: This action is irreversible. Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
